It can be overwhelming when journalists are expected to create stories that generate engagement and ultimately, subscriptions or other sources of revenue. How do you measure engagement? What are the important numbers to keep track of? And how can you apply this to your work without compromising your journalistic mission? In this session, the panelists discuss which measures of engagement to focus on (hint: not just pageviews) and how to define success.
