There are incredibly rich and complex stories about the Pacific Islander community, but they’re often left out of the Asian American narrative and ignored in the media. In this panel, we’ll talk with journalists who have covered stories about the Pacific Islander experience and issues facing the Pacific Islands, and we'll discuss ways to get newsrooms to cover this important community.
