Annie joined POLITICO in 2018 as its first director of engagement. She oversees the newsroom’s social presence, engagement strategy and off-platform storytelling. Before that, she spent three years as an engagement editor at the L.A. Times, where she specialized in creating engagement and distribution plans for some of the newsroom's biggest projects, including a years-long OxyContin investigation and the Dirty John hit podcast.
